GOOD NEWS!!!

As you all have witnessed, traffic has become a topic issue for all La Jolla community during the last couple of years. The Board of Directors have been really concerned about the security of drivers and pedestrians and looked for a way to keep the tranquility of our development and help the local society of Los Cabos. We had several meetings with the city and state officers in order to find a solution for this important issue that could benefit all parties. The HOA contributed in the conditioning of the Costa Azul turn around and on the installing of traffic signs on the highway. As a result of that, the Transportation Office granted us a private access permit that allows us to control the entrance to our property.

We received the official permit on Monday 5th, and installed the gate on the 8th. It  has been controlled by our security staff, who is there randomly during peak hours.

It is really important to mention that this project will benefit the San Jose del Cabo community greatly, because it will decrease the amount of accidents that occured previously  as our road wasn´t designed as a tour-around. On the other hand, the Costa Azul turn-around complies with the Federal Transportation rules and provides more security to the drivers.

Thanks to all for your support and please feel free to contact the office for any questions.

PARKING AT THE UPPER LOT

To all Homeowners,

It has become apparent over the last year or two that the usage of the upper fenced parking area has increased in volume. It is also noticeable that there are vehicles, boats, trailers and trucks that look abandoned, not operable or appear to be salvage. In an effort to provide parking for those that choose to use the area for its intended purpose, removal of those vehicles that are inoperable, not currently registered and in disrepair is currently proposed. This will provide room for more parking and vehicle storage, returning the area to its intended purpose. It is the intention of the involved HOA’s to compile a list of owners and their respective vehicles that use the facility. During the next three months, or prior to Oct. 1st if possible, it would be appreciated if those storing vehicles/trailers/boats in the lot would notify their respective HOA with the vehicle’s information. In this way a current listing of all units would be compiled and the removal of those vehicles no longer operable can be removed to provide more useful parking space.

We appreciate your help in advance and wait for your updated information ASAP.

Sincerely,

Board of Directors
Cluster I

ALSO... Please be advised that we got a new combination lock for the upper parking lot. The code is available at the HOA Office, so please don´t forget to contact us to provide you the code. Remeber that this service is exclusively for homeowners, so no guests or renters are allowed to use the facilities. Thanks to all!
